The new owners used Hickory Designer shopping services to meet the needs of their design project. After we consulted with the client to discuss their preferred styles and furniture functions for the home, we took our client shopping for all new furniture for the master bedroom, living room room, keeping room, kitchen and theater room. We also assisted with the furniture layout in other rooms with existing furniture.

New custom window treatments and bedding were designed and installed to accent the beds and two story windows. Accessories, wall art and floral arrangements were selected, designed and installed to add the finishing touch to all the rooms in this stunning home.  Last but not least, we decorated it for Christmas!

In the kitchen we selected new appliances, a tiled back splash, granite counter tops, kitchen table and barstools. The kitchen was completed with a fresh paint color, custom window treatments and new art work.

The living room was updated from an entertainment armoire to a new floor plan design that included a flat screen tv above the fireplace. Tile was added around the existing fireplace for a new design. Paint was selected and custom window treatments were hung to coordinate with the new wall art. In the corner of the living room an arrangement of lighted sticks were placed and a new cocktail table and entertainment storage unit was purchased for function.

The dining room was painted and refurnished to coordinate with the kitchen furniture. Custom window treatments and floral arrangements compliment the new area rug. All new lighting was installed on the first floor to bring the homes style up to date.

All of the rooms in the home were selected a harmonious color pallet to flow through this single level dwelling.

New custom window treatments were hung to be both functional and stylish in the bedroom and kitchen. Furniture, wall art and accessories were purchased and mingled through the home with existing collections.

After she selected the bedding of her choice, we selected a wall color and painted her room to match. Then she went shopping with us to pick out fun wall art that we recommended.

We enjoyed putting a smile on this girls face when she saw her new room put together for the first time.

Hickory Designer removed all of the old existing walls, plumbing, tub, sink, lighting, ceiling and flooring. Basically it was stripped down to the foundation and stud walls.

After demolition, new insulation was put in, new plumbing was added, new electrical wiring was installed, new tub was placed, new sheet rock was hung, new tile design was installed on the floor and shower walls, the walls were painted, the trim around the window was added, lighting was hung and the toilet and sink were installed.
