Pleated Drapery

The pinch pleated drapery is the most comman used. It is both functional and decorative. This type curtain can be used in a wide variety of homes from eclectic to traditonal depending on how many pleats is with in the pinch and where it is pinched together. 

Draperies with pinch pleat can be used on several types of rods. It can be used on a traverese rod, a decorative rod with rings and is sometimes used on electrical rods when they are heavy or hard to reach. It is wise to use a a dowl rod to open and close your draperies if you are using a traverse rod or decorative rod.
