Melissa Breden

Melissa's love of design and decorating began at an early age. In order to realize her potential in the art of design, she has passionately pursued her love through education and experience.

After graduating with her Interior Design degree, she began her career as a visual merchandiser for Broyhill Furniture Inc. As the manager of a team of designers, she was responsible for inventory and floorplan layout for over 150,000 square feet of Broyhill showroom space for the High Point Furniture Market for two years.

Unwilling to relocate with her position, worked in visual merchandising and sales within the Hickory Furniture Mart for 4 years. She designed layouts for showrooms, and worked one on one with clients floorplans within the Hickory Furniture Mart.

This experience has led Melissa to a unique knowledge of not only the Hickory Furniture Mart, but also all the surrounding furniture stores and outlets. This knowledge coupled with her mastery of design layout, furniture styles, and accessories help to focus and satisfy her clients design needs. For the past two years, Melissa has provided her distinct design services to clients from New York, to Florida, and all the way to California.
